I thought this was a joke that they are planning this.

They should do a promotion that gets selected fans on the field to take shots on goal or some sort of actual soccer-type activity. Maybe two teams of chosen fans — one defends while the other tried to score. Something DIFFERENT than handing out wigs.

If they must hand out something , make it a t-shirt, or something.

I think T-shirts would be ok, too that seems a little unorginal (Super Cooper T’s excluded). I think they should hand out free FCD flags to the crowd. Imagine a whole crowd of flags waving, that would really make the place seem visually lively.

But really, call me “old fashioned” if you want,
but i’d say TV and billboard adds could work wonders to promote the team.

Seriously? major league team using minor league tactics. Stick with the t-shirts or soccerballs for the kids. Even the noise sticks are better.

Maybe they already ordered the wigs for the second Toja wig night, then had to improvise when he left for Steaua.

Eugene – I saw thinking that too.. Maybe they had some left over Toja wigs, gave them a trim and then passed them off as Davino wigs. Ingenious!!!

you probably are correct. What they should do with them is store them for 5-10 yrs and then start selling them on eBay as collector items.

I’m trying to convince my wife to let me buy a custom “Hoops” lucha mask to wear to the games. Maybe they could do something like that.

OR…
megaphone night, noisemakers, coopers golden boot push.. or something, I like the mask night… maybe stripper night… lap dances for every goal we get…. or team with the lemonade people or whoever and between x and y minute (85-90th) you get a free small lemonade if we score.

I think a toe cast would be good to pass out along with a banner that say’s, “My Toe Is Broke but Not My Bank Account.”

I’ll just take a few home wins. That seems to get me to the park faster thatn any promotion
