The MLS disciplinary report came out today and Arnaud’s on it.

“The Major League Soccer Player of the Week is selected each week of the MLS regular season by a panel of journalists from The North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). The group consists of members of print, television, radio and online media. More information and membership information can be found at http://www.soccerreporters.com.”
There are 83 people on that panel. A unanimous vote by 83 people is pretty impresive.
While it is impressive that he won by a unanimous vote last week, we should be clear that the entire panel did not vote. Some are not allowed to vote by their newspapers and others just don’t vote.
For example, this week only 27 people voted. I’m sure the numbers were fairly similar last week.
But just getting 20-something people to agree is pretty amazing too! Yay Kenny!
