So for the first time we see Schellas Hyndman really drop the hammer on a player, unless you are counting Ricardinho being waived last week. Ok so Schellas dropped the hammer on two players. In the space of a few short days we’ve seen one player booted off the bus and another told to move to the back. It’s going to be an interesting winter I think. Not that we don’t have some season left to play.

Rocha Suspended?

One thing was very clear today, FCD’s right midfielder and leading assist man André Rocha was missing form training. What remains abundantly unclear is why he was missing. It appears that on some level Rocha may have been suspended. Sorta. FCD head coach Schellas Hyndman had the explanation, er… reason… um… here’s what he said. “Rocha has had an issue. We’ve addressed the issue and we’re taking care of it internally.”

Sikora Out 4 to 6 Weeks

Victor Sikora (Courtesy FC Dallas)FC Dallas today announced that brand new left midfield signing Victor Sikora will miss 4 to 6 weeks with a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee. The injury was discovered in Monday’s MRI and he’s scheduled for surgery on Wednesday morning.
