I’m obviously very close to Bruno. He played for me and I recruited him. I would’ve loved to have the lottery fall in our laps because it would’ve been an easy way to get him.
We have been talking about him since I left SMU but I haven’t really talked to Bruno because I really think the education is important. At least he knows he has that and there is a strong chance that he wouldn’t be in Dallas. He might be in some place he might not want to be. He might be in Toronto, someplace that they don’t need a center midfielder.
I think that Colorado was lucky. We would’ve been lucky to get him. We would like to get him here. It’s just going to be what Colorado might want in return. For us, we’re still trying to find a way to bring him here. Again, I’m close to him and know his value. I think he could be a help to this team.”
So stay tuned to see what it costs to get Bruno to Dallas.
I thought FCD already had too many midfielders?
Too many D-mids, not enough A-mids and wingers
Would probably trade Pablo or even AA due to his lack of playing time, his salary and I would say he will probably try his way out by end of the year…
too many young players now to develop, they struggle to get on the field so no thanks in another one. Can we get some developed players who can perform NOW not in 3-5 years.
bruno could play now for this group, trade a slot for him or whatever, he’s a much more complete mid than they have now
Now that Juan is gone doesn’t that open a 3rd International Slot?
Trading Dallas’ first round pick for Guarda seems fair since he probably would have been a 1st round pick in 2008 if he were GA.
CptnC, yes.
