Frisco Football at PHP

July 18th, 2008 . By: Buzz Carrick

The early Frsico ISD football schedule is out and there are six games listed as taking place at Pizza Hut Park. The games start in early September and run though early November.

September

9/4 - Frisco Centennial vs McKinney Boyd
(FCD/Colorado is a Thursday night ESPN Game 9/4, so this game could be wrong)

9/12 - Frisco Liberty vs Lovejoy
(FCD @ DC 9/13)

October

10/10 - Frisco Centennial vs Sherman
(FCD hosts TFC on 10/11)

10/17 - Frisco Liberty vs Centennial
(at RSL on 10/18)

10/31 - Frisco Liberty vs Frisco Wakeland
(MLS playoff opener 10/30 to 11/2… perhaps not a problem for FCD.)

November

11/7 - Frisco vs Frisco Centennial
(MLS Playoff second round 11/6 to 11/9)

All games have 7:30 PM kick

Just another reason for Cooper and Toja to get the heck out of here asap and go somewhere the game is all important and doesn’t have to play 4th fiddle to all this other crap.

Boo. This is part of the Faustian deal that allegedly saved FCD from becoming Saint Louie’s newest franchise. (The high school games are probably better attended.) Perhaps the lines will confuse the opposition.

I call Bullshit on this. What a crock..I’d rather they go back to the Cotton Bowl..This is becoming a friggin joke..

    back to the Cotton Bowl:
-where they had Orange and Crimson end zones and a big ugly SBC in the middle of the pitch?
-where they had Purple (PV) and Yellow (Grambling) in the end zones and band members footprints all over the field?
-where there were 50,000 empty seats instead of 12,000 at PHP?
-Now where there will be closer to 64,000 empty seats with expansion?
-where their hosting Texas A&M Commerce v. some Division II school this year?
-Where they paid $15,000 just to rent the field and got no piece of the concessions and parking?
-where they’ll still have to deal with football lines from the end of September until the end of the season?

yeah…….methinks not back to the Cotton Bowl except that its closer to my house.

Maybe the markings from the Texas-OU games that lasted for 3 weeks after they actually played, or Prairie View-Grambling.
