Warner Who is Miami FC?I imagine most MLS fans (like me) don’t follow the USL very closely. Miami FC currently is tied for 7th place in the USL first division with a record of 3W-6L-7T. Looking over their results, the score of 0-0 jumps off the page. Their coach Zinho was a member of the Brazil squad that won WC94 here in the USA. Looking over the roster, I only see one name I recognize from MLS, Avery John. Links of interest: No rest for FCD. Of particular note here is how Steve Davis deservedly hammers Saragosa in his ESPN article. Well said.
Willie Sims spent some time with the NE Revs.
7th place in USL? My goodness, if we don’t put a whooping on these guys than Schellas should be fired.
Okay, I’m kidding….mostly.
Eric Brunner (7) was drafted in the ‘08 Super Draft by RBNY. He was then offered a developmental deal to make room on the senior roster and he turned it down. He then opted to play for Miami in hopes to attract the eye’s of MLS scouts.
FCD made an inquiry about Brunner at one point. I would have liked to have seen him in Dallas.
Wasn’t John Pulido here with FCD for a while?
KK,
you are correct, but he never got any minutes in a “real” game.
