Brannon lost all credibility with this gem from his “analysis” – ” His decision to play a three-man defensive line was never tactically astute, nor is any coach who would dare to pretend that Dario Sala is an acceptable number one keeper in any league other than your local Sunday afternoon recreational league.”

Okay, so Sala might not be the best keeper in MLS, although at times he’s sure looked like it, but to infer that he’s not MLS quality…that’s just idiotic. The guy doesn’t know the first thing about soccer.

Take a look at Sala’s resume and tell me any other MLS keeper who could even slightly compare. He’s played first division in Argentina, one of the top leagues in the world. Joe Cannon couldn’t hack it in France. Sala’s only problem is that he’s not American and that’s why people like this loser want to hate on him. Sala still receives offers in South America and Mexico, obviously because they know more about soccer.

Sala was voted the top keeper in the Copa Libertadores one year….yeah the guy sucks.
