Flecha Roja?

June 2nd, 2008 . 10:01 am . By: Chamo Jones

Yesterday, I spent most of the game bouncing back and forth between the Telefutura broadcast and the FSN broadcast. It is always interesting to hear different points of view about what is taking place on the field. Especially when one of the broadcasts quits talking about what is taking place on the field.

While on the Telefutura broadcast I noticed that Jorge Pérez-Navarro started calling Bobby Rhine “La Flecha Roja”. I thought Dax McCarty was “La Flecha Roja”. I guess he likes the nickname so much that he couldn’t resist doing an FC Dallas game without calling somebody “La Flecha Roja”.

Flecha Roja for a day?

The real Flecha Roja

If Flecha Roja aint playin’, I ain’t narratin’!

Not sure how blonde hair is considered roja. Did he think it was the same player?

I heard the same thing, and I was confused as well. Calling them both ‘el colorado’ would make sense for a nickname but confusing when we are playing the colorado rapids, but i don’t see how bobby is red.
