Where would FCD be without these two? Cooper now second in the league in scoring behind Mr. Donovan. Rocha tied for second in the league in assists. Probably not second in the West as they are now.
Another game against Houston… another two points lost in stoppage time
Man, was watching the US Men’s National Team flounder against England ever depressing or what? There was an obvious gap, hell for that matter, a canyon of different between the two sides. England was littered with world class players that showed their style and speed of play.
The Houston Chronicle’s Bernardo Fallas says the Dynamo captain is out.
Real Salt Lake might have improved, but they still are a historically horrid team on the road. Beating them on your own turf should be expected, even in the wake of a coach’s firing.

In what has become a yearly tradition for Houston, once again they started the season off slowly on both sides of the ball. Every year, they start figuring things out on defense after a few games, and then sometime around midseason the offense kicks into gear. By the time the playoff run starts, both sides are very sharp; the great end of season form has led to consecutive championships.
When I arrived at training this morning it was about 86 and climbing toward 90 or more… but off in the horizon is a dark wall of clouds. If you grew up in Texas you now how this works, as long as the wind is from the south you’re fine. As soon as the wind turns from the north and the temp drops about 15 degrees in less than a minute it’s time to run for the hill.
