Morrow Linked to Walsall
May 8th, 2008 . 6:50 am . By: Buzz CarrickI feel so British this morning. FC Dallas coach Steve Morrow has been linked to the Walsall FC job by the Daily Star. It’s not exactly the wall street journal, but you never know I suppose. I couldn’t find the direct link on the Daily Start site, but it’s mentioned by several other publications including the BBC (near the bottom, Other Gossip). “I don’t know where that’s come from,” said Morrow when reached for comment. “This time of year a lot of clubs are looking for changes. My name has been thrown about before. But I certainly haven’t heard that from anyone. I ‘m very happy at FC Dallas.” 15 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

Where is the love for your daily FCD News recap team? I was all over it.
Sorry I forgot to check. Boo Buzz.
No worries. I wasn’t all over it enough to get a quote from Morrow like you just did.
This seems like a win-win. Walsall gets their man and we go get a good coach. Oh, wait a minute, the Hunts write the checks so we can’t actually go get a good coach so I guess we are stuck with Steve for now.
That job would be a step down. We could beat at least half the teams in the Championship.
“I very happy”? I hope that’s a typo and not horrible diction from the coach
Moose last week we couldn’t beat the bottom team in MLS. The coke-cola league is way higher than MLS and I think we all ready know that but it’s fun try to boast about our league any way.
Yeah, Moose. Even if the talent were similar or worse, the money would definitely be better for Morrow. Easy choice.
It would be sad to see Morrow leave, but it might be the step we need to win a Cup finally.
P.S.If Morrow leaves, Alveraz is a winger new coach
Paging Oscar.Paging Oscar Pareja. You are wanted at the front desk…STAT
The best thing that can happen to FC Dallas and their fans is for this guy to take the job in England!! By Stevie, don’t let the door hit you…..oh well……
Steve, if I wrote it you can bet it was a typo.
I disagree with all the negative comments…I think we are much better than last year, have a stronger, deeper roster, and like the direction of the club.
How’s DC United & Houston looking, for example!?!
It’s too early to tell exactly how “good” FCD is. But, I will say that under Morrow FCD plays more possession soccer, which I happen to like.
Hey Steve, that job back home is looking a bit better now isn’t it? Nothing worse than getting beaten by the guys you got rid of.
