Well, obvious now that it wasn’t just Davis’ opinion on Morrow.
Not sure what was worse: watching that disaster as it occurred or reading about it and reliving it two days later. Davis is spot on in both articles, and in the 2nd one he nails the biggest reason why LA’s tactical formation worked to perfection: Rocha does not belong lined up on a wing. Get well soon, Dax.
Sure, LA’s tactics might not have worked quite so well if FCD had actually, you know, put up a fight, but you sure can’t argue how good Gullit’s plan was. Too bad neither Morrow nor his assistants could have bothered to notice and make the necessary adjustments.
