A return to full health and scoring form has seen Kenny Cooper’s name included on the latest US pool of 33 players from which rosters will be pulled for upcoming matches against England, Spain, and Argentina.  With three games in a month leading up to the World Cup Qualifier against Barbados on June 15th, Bob Bradley has named a top tier list of both domestic and internationally based players.

The 22 man roster for the first match against England on May 28th will be announced next week.  All three matches will be broadcast on the ESPN and Univision networks.  The US will face Spain on June 4th and Argentina on June 8th.

Cooper has twice before appeared for the US.  He made his debut in a 3-1 win over Denmark at the Home Depot Center in January of 2007 and followed that up against Guatemala at Pizza Hut Park that March.

Awesome. With the amount of forwards on this list, he’ll probably only play in 1 game, and miss 2 or 3 FCD games. good for him. Not surprised that Moor was left out.

Moor was never more than 3rd or 4th choice at right back. He may figure some day again against some weaker competition in the marathon of qualifying.

How is this “player pool” thing gonna work? Will all the players be in camp and then released for club games when not picked for US games?

this is the list of names from which a 28 man camp invites are sent out. which is then cut to 23 for games… and 18 on game day.
