Meh. NYRB had more shots, more corners, but very little real threat.
Yeah, NYRB did more running around with the ball at their feet… only to shoot wide and wild to no effect. That doesn’t equal control or domination to me.
Until toja was hurt Dallas had the majority of the ball and the good play. The front 7 are really working the ball well in combination.
After Toja got nicked it didn’t go as well, but when leading 2-0 it almost always looks like that when one team begins to play more conservatively and counter. Almost all of the good Red Bull attacks came in the last 20 minutes IMO.
