Here’s an idea, let’s make a guy who doesn’t speck english, hasn’t trained, is late arriving to team, is over priced and gives the first game away CAPTAIN. Another great job ny Morrow. The only question is will this be a Ruiz or Denilson level goof up?

That’s unfair Ken. Davino looked pretty solid except for one really costly error.

I think this one was a 50/50 split for Davino and Morrow. Davino gave up the goal, but Morrow kept him in too long, as it was mentioned earlier that his fitness level only suggested him playing around 70 minutes.

I was surprised about the captaincy change also. You gotta think that Morrow is toast if we are at the bottom of the table by mid season.

Davino was too busy filming non-speaking roles in Dick’s commercials to actually train with the team.

While Davino flubbed it a bit, I think we’re letting Dario off the hook on that one a bit. He was caught in no-man’s land.

He sits home, that little poke goes nowhere. He comes out, maybe he spooks the striker into going wide. You’re in or you’re out if you’re charging a ball like that as a keeper, and he didn’t commit.

Agreed w/ James Wedding. While Davino made a bad error, what the hell was Dario doing ten yards off his line ball watching?! What a sad finish to what should have been a very nice win.

Regardless of everything that has been said, FCD did not deserve to win that game after their performance. ‘08 is going to be a repeat of ‘07…

I sure hope that FCD had a recall provision on Ray Burse, since Lambo is not going to be out for 6-8 weeks with his broken jaw…

Was it just me, or did everyone look tired and slow? You would think first game of the season…we are fresh…we are energized…let’s make a statement. Maybe not. Speaking of speed - we won’t see Wagner, Cooper, Thompson, and Rhine blazing past anyone now, will we?

Finally…except for Toja and Alvarez, will someone (more than one) step-up and take-on some defenders! Gain some confidence, beat a defender or two, and mix things up a bit by creating more opportunities for others. It is butt-boring and predictable at times and has been for some time now.

P.S. Thanks for keeping us in the game Sala.
