Bruno Marioni to MLS?
March 28th, 2008 . By: Buzz CarrickThe Chronicle’s Bernardo Fallas says he was watching Contacto Deportivo on TeleFutura and they reported that El Barullo, Bruno Marioni, is saying he is pondering a serious offer from an MLS club he declined to name. Fallas thinks Houston should go after Marioni. The best ideas are borrowed ideas right? So I would like to say that Marioni is exactly the kind of striker FCD is missing. Adding Marioni would, in my opinion, make them one of the leading contenders for MLS Cup. Dallas, unlike Houston, has the cap room to add a Designated Player and this would be the perfect fit. Anyone else recall him shining for Atlas in the last InterLiga? Somebody get Morrow on the phone. Update: Looks like it’s Chivas USA. 5 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

would an MLS team seriously offer him something right after the transfer window closed? it doesnt really make much sense does it?
The MLS window has not closed and it’s the incoming window that matters. MLS teams can bring in players until April 15th.
why would dallas add him when they already added the FCD fan zone before the 1st game. that’s entertaining enough.
I’m all for adding another Argentinian, especially one who looks like Aerial Graziani. (I’m Assuming he still has the long locks)
How many strikers does Chivas USA need? By comparison, how many does FCD need?
