Yi and McCarty Held Out

March 28th, 2008 . 5:12 pm . By: Buzz Carrick

Alex Yi and Dax McCarty were both held out of FC Dallas training today for what head coach Steve Morrow termed a ”precaution.”  Yi is having a little tightness in his hamstring, McCarty a little tightness in his back.  While neither would technically be considered injured, Morrow indicated the team wanted to be careful this early in the season.

With Drew Moor suspended for the opener, Aaron Pitchkolan is the most likely to fill his spot if Yi is unavailable.  Bobby Rhine has been playing the spot McCarty would most likely occupy in the lineup, right wingback.

Wow. I read the headline as “Yi and McCarty Hold Out” (like for contract reasons…) Then I came to my senses.
