Well the player from CAP asked for the whistle! we cant the referee however it looks like as the ref asked # 7 to step back since its looks like he is arguing with the ref at the same time he is stepping back!
so, I would say the CAP players should be upset with it!

Sala looked even more ridiculous on video than he did in person on the CAP goal. Barely appeared to be watching the game. Did have a great save later though.

Team taking the kick has to ask for the ten yards at which point the ref makes the distinction on if they must wait on the whistle. He never indicated that the whistle would start play on that kick. Very odd for sure but, it happens.

Looks like the CAP player over the ball did ask for a whistle, so I can see why they were upset. Doesn’t excuse the reaction, but it’s not as unprovoked as FCD made it out to be on the blog.
