Dallas Cup on Metro Sports

They didn’t announce it in advance, but the Dallas Cup is going to be aired on Metro Sports on Time Warner Cable.  Starting this last Monday and running through the end of the tournament, certain games, including the SuperGroup, are being aired on Metro Sports channel 185 on the Time Warner System and in the On Demand lineup.  So if you have time Warner check out the games.

TIME WARNER CABLE’S METRO SPORTS TO PROVIDE SELECT COVERAGE OF DR PEPPER DALLAS CUP XXIX

Metro Sports will carry 13 Dallas Cup Matches on Channel 185 and On Demand beginning Monday

Time Warner Cable will televise select Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXIX games played in Pizza Hut Park Stadium including, the Super Group (Under 19) games schedule for March 16, 19, 21 as well as the Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Under 17 and Under 19 Championship matches to be played on March 22-23 Gordon Jago, Dallas Cup, Inc., executive director announced today.

“We are delighted that Time Warner Cable has become a sponsor of Dallas Cup and will give soccer fans throughout North Texas the opportunity to see the very best in international youth soccer which includes the chance to see Liverpool FC of England, Sao Paulo FC of Brazil, SL Benfica of Portugal, Andromeda SC of Dallas (the 2007 USYSA National U17 Champions), CD Guadalajara of Mexico and more,” said Jago.  “This partnership with Time Warner is exciting and we look forward to working with them long into the future.”

“We’re proud to be the official broadcast home of the Dallas Cup,” said Gary Underwood, director of communications for Time Warner Cable’s North Texas Division.  “Metro Sports is committed to providing local sports coverage you can’t see anywhere else.”

    Anyone out there in the Dallas area going to be recording this? I am a father of an under 13 finalists (Southampton FC “The Saints”) out in Southampton England and I can’t get to see the final. Unless it’s going to be webcast? ANy ideas anyone?

    Same here my lad is in the super group final with liverpool.Searched the net with no joy.Can anyone help ?
