Hope They Cover the Field
March 10th, 2008 . 12:29 pm . By: Buzz CarrickCause Edgefest is coming back to Pizza Hut Park. While I applaud the external revenue for FC Dallas, this is a concert that wasn’t to kind to the grass last time. Here’s hoping the get the plastic covers up faster this time. I’m particularly worried about the grass because Jimmy Buffet is the previous day. Uff, your hopes will be dashed. Jimmy Buffet on 4/26 followed by Edge fest on 4/27 is guaranteed to kill the grass.
At least there’s a three week recovery period between that nightmare weekend and FCD’s next home game (LA Gals Sunday May 18).
I’m more concerned with the mixing of Edgefest fans and lingering, hungover Parrotheads in the parking lot. That could get messy.
There should be plenty of leftover grass between the two concerts, especially the one the night before. Oh, wait – you didn’t mean that kind of grass.
Wow, where are they gonna find the parking for all of those people? Just another “money grab” by the idiots that run FCD/PHP in my mind.
