Game On: Mexico vs. Finland Still on at PHP Tonight

By: Buzz CarrickFor those wondering if tonight’s game between the Olympic team of Mexico and the senior national team of Finland at Pizza Hut Park will take place, FC Dallas has released a press statement saying the game will be played at 8:30 PM. Reports are that 15k tickets have been sold for tonight’s match, although some tickets are still available. here’s the PR stuff… MEXICO OLYMPIC TEAM VERSUS FINLAND TO BE PLAYED AS SCHEDULED TONIGHT AT PIZZA HUT PARKSoccer United Marketing and Pizza Hut Park would like to inform all media that the match between the Olympic team of Mexico and the senior national team of Finland will be played as originally scheduled tonight, Thursday, March 6 at Pizza Hut Park (8:30 p.m. CT). Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Pizza Hut Park North Box Office. Tickets remaining cost $30. A separate advisory will be issued in the event the game cannot be played due to the weather. we have tix & really want to see this game, but are kind-of mixed given the lousy weather. maybe if they just delayed it 1 day….? might have to wiggle our way into the verizon club (lol!)
seems like Finland might have a bit of an advantage in any game against Mexico where snow will be on the ground….
