When does the season begin? Plenty of time for the guy to regain his fitness. The biggest question that Morrow was looking to answer with Mina's trial was to see if he had recovered from the injury that has kept him off the field for 18 months.

Given Buzz's latest report on Mina (Morrow says Mina is not signed), it looks like Morrow is satisfied with the injury rehab part, and wants to see if he can get his fitness up to par before commiting a contract to Mina. Not an unreasonable approach.

I think Dom is the odd man out. In the game against West Texas A&M Dom seemed to be the better of the two players IMO but I guess Morrow sees it different. Goodbye Birdman

I predict that Oduro will be gone due to Mina's signing, and I would prefer to see Mina on the field than Oduro who still lacks basic ball skills for a professional player. Plus I don’t think Oduro's speed will be missed with the new formation in place. If we really need the speed then there is always Ricardinho...

FCD could in theory loan someone out to clear them off the roster. But I doubt there is anyone FCD has that CAP would want other than their own players FCD has.

And yes FCD could send someone back "early," as you put it.

Anyone FCD wanted to unload wouldn't have a ton of value, but it might be more than zero. Obviously that would also depend on who we are talking about. Price for a international spot has gone up some now that SI=JI. Fair to say they are not real cheap I think.

Because other MLS clubs know that we have to unload someone, how much less value would FCDget for them? How much would it cost them to trade for another international slot?

Buzz -- do you have any insight into how the CAP/MLS loan process works? Could we send an international to CAP from FCD to gain relief? Would they take someone back "early"?
