Mina Re-signed?

February 8th, 2008 . 8:27 am . By: Buzz Carrick

It hasn’t been announced by FCD, but the reliable Steven Goff says Mina has resigned with MLS.  No word from FCD or our own sources yet.

Edit: update on Mina in Feb 8th practice report.

    buzz,

off topic. since you mentioned you won’t be here next week, will someone else be doing the practice reports? we’ve gotten spoiled by you. we need our FCD fix, especially since all the squad will be in.

    Buzz,
If Mina is re-signed what are the clubs options as far as cutting him, trading him, and the associated salary cap implications? The reason I ask is Mina is coming back from a long layoff and has a history of fitness problems. I would hate to be forced to waste an international roster spot and cap space for some or all of the season if Mina comes in out of shape.

Drace, It’s not a guarantee deal, which means they could cut him at any time. I’ll have a bunch more on Mina in today’s practice report when I finish it.

3nOUt, no one is specifically schedule to go out there. Most of our people have day jobs which limit that. Sorry. I’ll only be gone a week.
