oh yeah, Vela killed Drew along that wing taking him to the line many times. When Gio dos Santos came on, he did much of the same.

Magallon was Drew’s man on both set pieces, thats how he ended up reaching out while Magallon was putting the ball in to the net. Its pretty obvious that Drew was assigned to mark him. the biggest thing was that there was a man on the front post for both goals, but also nobody on the back post. both balls were played to the back post with Drew chasing and Magallon put them into the roof of the net.

Thought Moor played really well in all other respects. Beautiful assist. Very unlucky on the direct kicks. And, Tim Howard was outstanding, but couldn’t/shouldn’t the keeper have come out and tried to punch those two balls away? They were darn near point blank shots. Hard to second guess, I guess.

It was a misfortune that Drew happened to be the guy beaten in the two plays.

Magallon wasn’t Drew’s guy.

Look at the replay adn see how Magallon came out of nowhere and surprised the whole defense.

Those two were set pieces planned having Magallon coming out of no where while the rest of the defense were worried about Marquez, Vela, De Nigris and company…

BTW- The goal by Dempsey that was called back was played from Gooch, not Moor. Regardless of what Harkes said reviewing the match, the ball was from Gooch.

Bradley has been good and will be better, but that was a shocker.

Donovan is inept in the middle as th newspapers wrote about him during his last stay in Germany, Play him wide or up top.

I don’t know if Moor will be a regular for the nats, but he’s better than he was last night and he has the mentalitiy to keep getting better. I already think he should have the armband for FCD.

You can see how they sharpen the edge on an attacker in Europe, Dempsey looked far more dangerous everytime he received the ball and he was miles ahead of everyone with his touch and decisions.

Altidore and Adu are going to make us smile a bunch over the next few years as they grow up. They are still so young they may actually be still GROWING.
