February 1st, 2008 . 11:05 pm . By: Buzz CarrickAs we previously reported on this site, FCD begins spring training this Monday, February 4th. The first session will be at 10 AM at Pizza Hit Park to kick off two-a-day training. Two-a-day sessions will last all the first week and are scheduled each day at 10 and 3. While in Brazil, FCD is scheduled to play three games, including one against Brazilian Serie B opponent Avai Futbol Club in Florianapolis as well as the 1st leg of the second annual USA-Brazil Challenge against Atletico Paranaense at Kyocera Arena in Curitiba. FCD will then return to Pizza Hut Park for two final preseason contests in March, facing the Los Angeles Galaxy in the FC Dallas Foundation Charity game on Saturday, March 15 (7:30 p.m. CT) and then Atletico Paranaense on Saturday, March 22 in the return-leg of the USA-Brazil Challenge. The home game versus Atletico Paranaense will be part of the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXIX weekend, which will wrap up on Sunday, March 23 with the finals of the Super Group (U-19 Division) at Pizza Hut Park. Preseason Schedule(Subject to change) Jan. 31-Feb. 2: Players report for physicals, and fitness, medical, and other tests. Preseason Games(Subject to change) Feb. 9: Centro America (2007 Copa Coors Champion) – 10:30 a.m. – Pizza Hut Park: adidas Field No 3rd Degree TripUnfortunately it looks like the FCD schedule in brazil, when combined with my real world work commitments, means it’s virtually impossible for me to make it down there for anything length of time to make the trip worthwhile. Perhaps some day my work will again line up with what FCD has going on and I’ll be able to make it. 6 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

Looks like good preseason games.
Sorry you can’t make Brazil trip, but am looking forward to your practice reports from here.

Are pre-season games open to the public? Do they sell tickets or anything?
game on the practice field are open to the public and free.
Games in the main stadium against LA and CAP are pay attendance.
What no Tigres?
I agree: what happened with Tigres? We should be playing Concacaf competition as much as possible.
