FCD News Recap

January 2nd, 2008 . By: Chamo Jones

Happy New Year everybody! The FCD News Recap is back. Due to some work commitments, I had to slack off on the daily news recaps once the season ended, and then the holiday season rolled up on us. But now the new year is here, and I’m ready to get back on the horse (or should I say the bull?) Hopefully 2008 will be a year that FC Dallas will never forget as they win every piece of hardware that they can possibly win.

Interliga kicks off tonight at PHP

If you can’t make it to the park, the games are being shown on Fox Sports Español. ToLo gives us a brief preview of the competition, but offers no predictions. I can’t blame him. Pre-season tourneys are difficult to predict. In the past editions, Interliga games have been very entertaining, high scoring, wide open affairs. This year should be no different.

Welcome back! Oh, what interesting news en espanol . . .

Always nice to see Toja in the Colombian news. :)

    But this (about Denilson) . . .

“El delantero brasileño, actualmente en el FC Dallas de los Estados Unidos, tenía a su novia Jessica en las gradas del estadio del Santos.

Sin embargo, eso no imposibilitó que bromeara y coqueteara con la árbitra Ana Paula Oliveira . . .”

I THINK it says that while he was in the stadium with his girl friend, Jessica, he was flirting with the lady ref that had posed for Playboy.

If true, then :P on you, Denilson.
