I wonder if Los Rojos can afford to buy Fish? I doubt it, plus that couldn’t be good for the Guatemalan national team. Los Cremas y Los Rojos are huge in Guatemala, but the level of competition there is… sad. I wonder if he’s willing to make a move to Mexico or Europe. If not, and if nobody in the league is willing to pay full price, I’d love to see him paired up top with KC with a healthy midfield feeding them good service.

    SK,

I wouldn’t read much into it other than Ruiz getting some work in before it is time to report for MLS pre-season training camp. Which MLS camp he shows up at is another story. And we don’t have any hints at this point of it being anywhere other than Frisco or Carson.

The locals still cannot help but wonder if Ruiz training with their team is a sign of his return. And you can’t blame them for that.

Keep in mind that anything you read from certain members of the press in Guatemala has to be taken with a grain of salt. We have been observers of their reporting standards for years, and have noticed that they don’t let things like the facts or the truth get in the way of a juicy story. You can contrast today’s story to the one that appeared in the Prensa Libre yesterday to see what I am talking about.

what european teams want Ruiz is what i want to know the only rumor of a team that i heard that might have wanted ruiz was Club America about 2 years ago.

i don’t want to see Ruiz go i like the Ruiz/Cooper/Mina combo up top since those three together score goals and just look deadly.
