I completely agree with the comment above from Gee: "Interesting Juan Gaviria (St. Peter’s) (MAAC Herman Trophy), is not on the list. Saw him play a few times against UCONN best player on the field."

Generally speaking, Juan Gaviria is amongst those that have watched him from the beginning of his participation in youth soccer through his college playing days, simply ... the finest offensive young player they've ever seen.

Were I amongst the current crop of MLS coaches and determined to field a championship team, I would be snatching young Gaviria from the available list at first opportunity so quickly the other coaches' heads would spin.

Another special player but not mentioned here but who brings a boat load of intangibles, but very real factors necessary to construct a consistenly winning team: team leadership, wise fieldmanship and all around soccer talent ... that ought to be mentioned ... and soliticited to play for the MLS is Billy Anthes.

The same Brandon McDonald from USF. He was a center mid and this past year played as a defender. Never played up top or as wide mid. I saw him play quite a bit. He can play in the MLS.

Kevin Reiman was actually the left mid for Michigan State - both in 2006 and 2007. Spent only spot duty as attack mid.

King has never tried to go GA, they have offered him but he refused. Portsmouth was also looking at king and tried to get him to trial, but he had problems with the work permit. Interesting Juan Gaviria (St. Peter's) (MAAC Herman Trophy), is not on the list. Saw him play a few times against UCONN best player on the field.

Interesting to see King so high, I hear he has tried to go GA for 3 years with no takers. I don't see him going nearly this high although he is clearly Sasho's boy just like Buete, Stammler and others.

Good rankings, it will be interesting how the smaller midfielders (King, Roth) will be drafted... either low on their size or high on their production during college. I think one important thing to note is which one's are lefties (I know Roth is) because one thing that teams always need are left sided players....
