Dude, no offense, but Goff is the same guy who had Veron coming to DC any moment now. He repeats internet rumor as much as the next guy. Most likely he’s repeating yours.
That doesn’t mean your info isn’t correct. I’d bet it is.
True, but he has names for a Crew tech dir, and Hunts usually do with one what they do with other…
Perhaps Jason can point me to where Goff said Veron was a done deal and was wrapped up and certain. I seem to recall that he frequently mentioned they were in negotiations (true) and that they had reached an advanced stage (true) but Veron had still not fully commited (true), there was a chance he would stay in Argentina (true) so it was prudent to wait for confirmation despite the fact that other media outlets were already reporting the deal as complete (true). I wouldn’t call the Veron thing merely ‘internet rumor’.
