HSG doesn’t give a damn about the quality of product in Columbus or Dallas. The only thing on their mind is whether or not they can book Nickelback to play their concert venues, aka. soccer specific stadiums.

for the most part they give each club GM a free hand. I will give them credit for not colluding. But when it comes to a organizational method, like a tech dir, if they feel it’s a better way to go they will copy it in both markets.

buzz, I always wondered why Crew and FCD havent traded more with each other given the ownership relationship. Also Crew and KC when HSG owned them.

Any reasons why not?

If Miami gets a team how old will Schletto be by that time? Maybe they will want him to be their coach.

another rumor is that IF Miami gets a team that Boca Juniors USA(assuming they get the team since they said they had interest in bringing a team to MLS) would want to take Schelotto from the Crew.

I imagine Schelotto just wants more money. That’s how these things work. I’d take him for Ruiz, but that’s not my first choice. He’s not mobile enough for Dallas IMO.

while we’re on the subject of player personel decisions, i have this thought i would like to share. i’ve heard rumors that schelotto may not want to rejoin columbus, maybe even leave MLS all together. i’ve heard he’s not pleased w/ the talent level of the crew. since HSG owns both crew and FCD, what’s the possibility of swinging a ruiz-schelotto trade? schelotto would be on a more talented club, and may be willing to remain in MLS. works out for both teams since the crew coach is familiar w/ ruiz.

what do you think? feasible or am i smokin’ too much?
