Congratulations to the SMU Mustangs for their 1-0 win over Gonzaga to advance in the NCAA playoffs.

Junior midfielder Bruno Guarda scored on a penalty kick in the 76th minute to lead the SMU men’s soccer team to a 1-0 first round victory over the Zags.  The Mustangs (14-4-2) now advance to play at Creighton, Wed., Nov. 28, in Omaha, Neb.

    Congrats to the ‘Stangs. Going to Creighton will mean playing in a little jewel of a soccer stadium in downtown Omaha. Unfortunately, for some reason the builders decided to drop field turdf/plastic grass in the place. Anyways, beat those guys.
