Pareja Gone? Rhine In?

November 21st, 2007 . 4:35 pm . By: Buzz Carrick

The usually reliable Ridge Mahoney says Oscar Pareja has been offered an assistant coach job with the US U17s under new coach and fellow colombin Wilmer Cabrera.  At this time we can not confirm that Pareja will be leaving Dallas.  Mahoney also says Bobby Rhine has been offered an assistant coaching job.  We can not confirm that report at this time either.

If it’s true then I hate to say I predicted this and wish it wasn’t happening.

Are you trying to say you knew something about this, or just making a general observation??

I didn’t know this was coming specifically, I just had a general fear FCD would lose Oscar.

Losing Oscar will be three times worse than losing Clarence. I really believe that Oscar has held this team together over the past several years. Without him, we don’t get Toja, Richetti, the CAP deal,……

Dan, Pareja had nothing to do with Ricchetti or CAP. Nevertheless, it’s a huge loss.
