FCD News Recap

October 15th, 2007 . By: Chamo Jones

Who will Dallas play in the first round of the playoffs? Houston or Chivas USA? Tonight’s game between Houston and Salt Lake City will tell us if we will need to pay attention to this weekend’s match between Houston and Chivas USA.

Houston will win the Conference; and FCD would face Chivas if Houston:
a.Beats Real Salt Lake and Chivas USA; or
b. Ties Real Salt Lake and beats Chivas. (Houston owns the head to head tie breaker).

Every other scenario has Chivas winning the Conference, and thus FCD playing Houston in the first round.

I know the answer is we’ll take whoever, but I’m curious what the opinion of this fan base is - Chivas without Razov or Dynamo without Clark?

I’d feel much more confident against Chivas w/o Razov.

In our current state I don’t feel confident against anyone. Defense is too leaky and offense just isn’t scoring.
