Chamo, what’s your opinion of this signing? I’m not sold, but I’m not sure it’s a horrible move either. Can he regain his 2002 form or, perhaps more accurately, his 1998 form? I guess I’m looking for reasons to join the celebration surrounding this.
JuanIg,
I am cautiously optismistic. On paper an in-form, motivated Denilson will give FCD a dimension that they haven’t had before. Morrow must be drooling at all of the possible formations that he can throw at his opponents.
I think basis of my optimism is that Morrow and his staff have pushed all the right buttons personnel wise this season so far. And they would be the reason why FCD is more likely to be be getting a guy with Angel’s or Beckham’s or Blanco’s approach to the league than the approach Mattheus or Branco had.
My main concern about the signing is the same one everybody else has. We haven’t seen him play since he left Europe.
