FCD News Recap

August 26th, 2007 . 9:40 am . By: Chamo Jones

For an idle FC Dallas, last night’s results worked out all right. The #1 seed of the West and the supporters shield are still within reach.

In the race for the #1 seed in the west, Houston only managed to draw with Columbus at ones. They extend their lead over FC Dallas by 2 points, although they have played two more games than FC Dallas. Chivas USA is excellent position to overtake both FC Dallas and Houston as they are only 3 points behind Dallas and 5 behind Houston, but have played two less games than Dallas. Chivas USA plays tonight against JK9’s Real Salt Lake.

As far as the supporters shield is concerned both New England and DC United won which tighten that race even more. What an exciting season! Every game matters.

All the FCD related news in the mainstream media is about, you guessed it, the one and only GREAT DENILSON!

Looks to me like the Telegram is sporting the photo of the other Denilson in that article.

that is Denilson who plays currently for Arsenal as a holding mid. he is around 10 years younger than the one we just bought and much less experienced. he backs up Fabregas and Gilberto Silva.

the on-line editors pulled a picture for the article and got the wrong guy. Writers for paper’s don’t handle the headline or the photos. I bet Tobias was a bit annoyed.
