    Nailed, all too painfully, by Tobias:

    “The SuperLiga loss proved typical of FC Dallas’ club history, which features consistently solid teams that can’t seem to win big games. Dallas hasn’t won a playoff series since 1999, and its only title is the 1997 U.S. Open Cup.”

    His article also notes what I feel was – other than the fact that the team came out clearly not ready to play – the biggest reason for the loss: Goodson’s injury. First I’d heard about that. When did it happen and when will he be back? Anyone who doubted his importance prior to last night should have had their eyes opened by that defensive performance.

    Just embarrassing.

    Goodson got hurt vs Pachuca and failed a last minute fitness test.
