John Doe #24

If you caught the Tigres game at PHP on Wednesday you will have noticed a player wearing #24 for FCD. His name is Francis Doe.

Doe is a 21 year old Liberian forward who originally came to the US at the age of 18. After playing a couple years with the Minnesota Thunder along side Marco Ferruzzi he had a short stint in Greece. Doe’s available on a free transfer after being let out of his deal by his last club and is on trial with FCD on the recommendation of Marco Ferruzzi.

“Grand Pa,” as he’s nicknamed, had a solid game showing good touch, great pace, and solid tactical awareness playing on the left wing in the 4-2-3-1. It’s unclear if Doe has a green card or if he would require a Youth International slot. F CD currently has no open YI slots but could trade foe one.
