When he left here to return to Bolivia he was right away player of the year again. I am sure he has matured as a player, but I think the speed and physical side would still be a problem. The Bolivian league plays a slower ball control kind of game. I doubt he would want to come back anyway. He was and is a nice player, I just don't think he fits the MLS style of play. This is the club that runs out of popcorn at the concessions. They also made a laughable offer to Edgar Davids over the winter - don't worry, they won't overspend for the sake of overspending. Instead they might get a player with a bum knee and not bother to get a physical and then blame the club that they got him from for showing bad form.... From what I've seen and heard, there is no real legitimate weakness to his game. From an athletic and fitness standpoint, I think he more than certianly foots the bill...On another team I think he would be a consistent starter.
