For what it’s worth, I got bit by those score-scrolling bastards some time a few weeks back, but since I clicked the banner to make it stop scrolling the setting seems to have stuck. So if you are using the same computer I suspect you might not continue to run into the same problem. I watched Sunday’s game on mlslive.tv with full dramatic impact intact

Hi DJ. Good to hear from you again. I am a new inferno member (well, when I pay my dues I will be); but this game was the first one in which I sat with the inferno. Loud and Proud was the inferno this game. I am proud to say, I scratched a vocal cord with them. That Gbandi goal was a thing of beauty at ground level from across the pitch. At first, I thought, “What in tarn-nation is Gbandi shooting for? He is not a sniper.” Then, to my my “nay-saying” eyes delight, he rings it in off the corner of the goal. Just like he was Schevchenko or someone like that. Truly amazing.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing you at the next home game and reading your excellent in game commentary on Sunday. Take care.

You didn’t want to turn on the TV because of the sound or the brightness of the picture? If it’s because of the sound, I suggest getting some wireless headphones. I got a pair from Sennheiser and they are great for staying up to watch the late games and not disturbing loved ones.

Quills: It’s funny you say that, because I actually get DirectKick and I have Tivo, but, because I got home at 1:30 in the morning, meant I couldn’t turn the game on because Cid was asleep. So I had to choose between waiting until the next day and watching the high quality Tivo replay, and watching the crappy MLS Live feed on the computer.

Let’s just say I’m an immediate gratification kind of guy.

The fact that ONE cannot watch streaming video without knowing all the scores is why I don’t subscribe. I paid for it last year and asked for a full refund after the first day due to this totally inexcusible situation.
