While looking up some info on Copa America, I came across this article on the CONMEBOL site…

There is a storm brewing down in Texas…
Slow newsday after the holiday weekend.
It was probably a lot to ask an MLS team to win three road games in a row and go undefeated for the month of May. So, a 2-0 loss to Chivas in LA is not a crushing blow by any means and the team should be plenty proud of their month.
Win streak comes to an end. On the bright side, Wags makes an appearance for the reserve team this weekend.
In a game that was back and forth all night, Chivas USA’s adjustment to cut off Dallas’ passing lanes in the middle led to their game winning goal. Juan Toja lost the ball under pressure near midfield, and Maykel Galindo punished the Hoops with a good strike from distance across the goal. Dallas had chances but did not convert them, and Chivas sealed the deal on a stoppage time chip from midfield by Ante Razov while Dario Sala was pushed up high.
Wins in two of the first three games of the 2007 season had Chivas USA fans excited about the upcoming campaign. Sure, they had lost two important cogs of the 2006 team that made the playoffs (Garcia and Palencia), but they had replaced Garcia with former MLS MVP Guevara. The only question was whether or not Galindo could perform at the same level as Palencia, and this was answered with a strong opening performance. Since the hot start, however, Guevara left the club, some of the younger players have taken a step back, and Chivas have struggled against weak competition.
It’s pretty much as you were this week in the power rankings as we don’t see much movement top to bottom, and none in the top five. New England stays with the top spot after yet another impressive result, this time winning on the road in Houston.
