It’s that time of year again folks, that’s right. It’s time for our annual “What FC Dallas Will Do” article. “But wait,” you say. “The title says ’should do’?” That’s true, and therein lies the rub. Usually we throw down a prediction of what we think the team will do, but since FCD doesn’t have a coach it’s kinda hard to predict the direction the team will take.
The combine has come and gone and while the standard was not quite as good as the last two years, there were still some players down in sunny Florida that are worth drafting. The combine is not the perfect method to scout players, but on some of the more fringe prospects or programs it’s all we have to go on. So it’s worth looking back at each player and recapping where I think they fall in the talent pool. Many of these players will not get drafted, perhaps this year more than ever that will be the case.
